Spartan Beast (Phase 2) is the conclusion to the Spartan training platform.  This phase continues to build on gains achieved during phase 1, but also increases focus on energy systems development.  Distances get longer, burpees increase in number, and movement patterns become more demanding.  The phase concludes with a "restful" week leading up to race day.

Do I need to complete Spartan Beast (Phase 1) before Phase 2?
The two programs are designed to be completed in succession. That said, it is advisable to complete Phase 1 prior to Phase 2. However, if you've got the hunger and think you're ready...Spartan Beast (Phase 2) awaits!
