Walk up to the bar knowing why you are there.

You want stronger lifts, sharper execution and training that leads somewhere. STRONG gives you 12 weeks of assigned strength and Olympic lifting so you can focus on doing the work and tracking what improves.

60 sessions. Three progressive blocks. One clear direction.

  • Weeks 1–4: Build your foundation. Establish working weights, progress your strength reps and practice the Olympic lifts.
  • Weeks 5–8: Build and refine. Work through assigned snatches, cleans, jerks, squats, pulls and complexes with progressive loading.
  • Weeks 9–12: Prepare and test. Manage volume, rehearse your lifts and taper before separate tests for snatch, clean and jerk, push press, back squat and deadlift.

Know what to do. See what improves. Your movements, sets, loading guidance, rest and coaching notes are laid out. Every section has a weight, time, rounds or completion score. Record your work in TrainHeroic and build a training history you can use.

Is this your next program? STRONG is for experienced lifters who are already comfortable with Olympic lifting and want a structured progression. Train five days per week and allow 60–90 minutes on combined lifting days. Start Day 1 on Monday; week 12 includes Thursday recovery before the final strength tests.

Created by Nick Urankar, five-time CrossFit Games athlete and online coach since 2012. You bring the effort. Your plan gives it direction.

Step up to the bar with confidence.
Practice your snatch, clean and jerk with a clear purpose each week. Assigned lifts, technique work and loading guidance help you approach the bar knowing what you are there to accomplish.

Build strength you can use.
Develop stronger squats, pulls and presses that support your Olympic lifts. Build your foundation through planned rep progressions, then apply that strength to heavier technical work while keeping execution the priority.

Make every session count.
Follow 12 weeks of assigned training with a clear path from foundation to testing. Your lifts, sets, rest and progression are laid out across 60 sessions, so you can focus on executing your next rep.

See what you’re capable of.
Track your lifts, build through each phase and arrive at test week ready to measure your progress. A planned taper leads into separate snatch, clean and jerk, push press, back squat and deadlift tests. Finish with results you can record and build on.

FAQs
Is $37 a subscription?
No. This is a one-time $37 purchase for lifetime access to the complete 12-week program. Follow and log the sessions in TrainHeroic, then repeat the program when you are ready.
Who is STRONG for?
Experienced lifters who can perform squats, deadlifts, snatches and clean and jerks confidently. The plan assigns the movements and progression. It is not an introductory Olympic lifting course.
What if I miss a training day?
Continue with the next session in order. Keep the planned recovery days and avoid doubling up heavy workouts. Start Day 1 on Monday for the suggested schedule; week 12 has its own recovery spacing.
How much time and equipment do I need?
Train five days per week and allow 60–90 minutes on combined lifting days. You need a barbell and plates, rack with safeties, lifting platform, hip-extension bench, lifting blocks, and a dumbbell or plate for accessory work.
How does the program build toward test week?
Weeks 1–4 establish your foundation. Weeks 5–8 build heavier technical work. Weeks 9–12 manage volume, rehearse and taper, then test your snatch, clean and jerk, push press, back squat and deadlift on separate days.
Do I choose the lifts or is everything assigned?
Your lifts and progression are assigned. Each session includes movements, sets, loading guidance, rest and coaching notes. Log your work in TrainHeroic and adjust loading to the prescribed effort and technical standards.
