Tired of grinding out your sessions for sub par results? The HG Weighting Team is built around creating purposeful, enjoyable sessions that makes your love for weightlifting thrive. As such, we aim for incidental performance on the platform, driven by enjoyment in the gym.

This 4 day/week program is written by Coach Gus, education backed and support with experience coaching multiple National level athletes. It primarily follows the annual NSW Weightlifting Association and Australian Weightlifting Federation calender, for athletes that are wanting to peak for competitions.

Includes demo videos and explanations of the exercises, and optional accessory work if you want to fully maximize your time in the gym.

The program is based around commercial gym use, with flexible session length of 45 - 90 minutes.

Become Undeniably Strong
There's no two ways about it, leg strength directly correlates to your Snatch, Clean, & Jerk. For example, to Snatch 100kg it is ideal that your Back Squat 1RM is at least 160kg. But... you need to get strong without sacrificing your joints; this program has got you covered.

Technique Expresses Strength
It does you not good to simply be strong. A powerlifter that Back Squats 250kg cannot walk up to the bar and Snatch 150kg. Our second priority is to both define and refine your technical proficiency. Our primary tools used to do this include form review feedback, and the program itself.

The HG Weightlifting Team
If you're in a commercial gym, Olympic Weightlifting can be isolating and lonely. One of the primary goals of this Team will be having all athletes completing 80% of the same program, with around 20% of individual adjustments. Invite your friends to complete this program with you, then challenge and champion one another through the blocks as we go. Peak at the same time, and succeed together.

When should I join?
Each block will be advertised on Instagram (@happygains.fitness). If you are looking for the ideal time to start, it's at the start of each block (every 8 - 12 Weeks). That being said, you and I both know that starting ASAP will be better than waiting 10 Weeks until the next block.
How much coaching will I get?
You can communicate with Coach Gus daily as necessary about anything in regards to the program, and send through videos for form review.
Do I get video technique reviews?
