MVHS Youth Baseball Development Program (6th–8th Grade)
This strength & conditioning program is built for middle school baseball players who want to continue developing after attending the Mountain Vista Youth Baseball Camp.
Train with purpose—doing the right things at the right time to build a strong foundation for high school baseball and beyond.
Athletes will follow a structured, age-appropriate plan designed specifically for 6th–8th graders, with a focus on long-term development, not just short-term performance.
What’s included:
Age-Appropriate Training Strength, coordination, and movement work designed for growing athletes.
Baseball-Specific Development Speed, power, and athleticism that transfer directly to the field.
Arm Care Simple, consistent routines to build arm strength and keep athletes healthy.
Mobility & Injury Prevention Improve movement quality and reduce risk of injury as athletes grow and develop.
Ongoing Coaching Weekly guidance and direction from Coach Miller to help athletes stay on track.
Athletes will train 3 days per week with clear instruction and structure.
This is the same system used in our high school program—adapted for younger athletes to build the right habits early.
