FAQs
Who is this team for?
We have lifters of all levels, from beginners to national championships competitors, including many masters. The program is designed to accommodate a range of abilities, and has been proven effective with all types of athletes.
How much coaching will I get?
Greg Everett checks in with the team daily to provide feedback, but you will not get individual feedback every day. You will also get help and support from your teammates.
Do I get video techique review?
Yes, you can post videos from your training as often as you want, but you will not get feedback on every video from your coach. There is no rigid schedule, but you can expect 1-2 times/week.
Is the program customized for me?
No, it is a single program for the team. However, your coach can suggest minor modifications when appropriate.
Will Greg Everett coach me at competitions?
No, this team is limited to the activity we do online.
Will I be on the Catalyst Athletics team?
No, this team is not part of the actual USA Weightlifting team, but lifters have been recruited for the team from it.
Can I combine this with another program or CrossFit?
This is a complete training program - adding any significant amount of other training on top of it is very likely to result in a lack of progress. Adding a moderate amount of CrossFit or similar can be done by athletes who are able to tolerate a large amount of training volume.
