6-Week Upper Body Strength Program (4-Day)

Big Bend Strength

Olympic Lifting, Weightlifting
Coach
Brian Chambers

Written for intermediate lifters, this olympic weightlifting program is designed to increase upper body strength with key lifts including the bench press, strict press, and push press!

You'll also use accessory exercises to build muscle and strength in the chest, shoulders, arms, and back. Don't worry, you'll still train squats and lower body, but much less than a normal weightlifting program.

With all of the upper body volume on this program, your olympic lifts will take a small backseat, with no lifts over 85%. There is also considerably much less olympic lifting volume on this program compared to our other training program. This allows you to keep your focus on developing upper body strength, size, and stability.

Duration: 6-Weeks

FAQs
Can I run this program inside of my normal weightlifting program?
You could, but the olympic lifts on this program are very minimal due to the volume of upper body work. If you want to run this alongside your olympic lifting program, just skip our programmed lifts and only do the strength and accessory work. However, I recommend limiting all oly lifts to 85%!
Is this program for beginners?
This program was written for intermediate lifters, if you are completely new to the olympic lifts, check out our free WL101 program. If you have some experience with the olympic lifts, this program will work!
Is coaching included?
Coaching is not included, but you can join our free discord community and post videos for feedback from our coaching team!
