Hypertrophy Past and Present was born of the realisation that bodybuilders of the past trained in ways that made far more physiological sense than the anabolics-influenced bodybuilding programs of the last 50 years.

This group takes iconic hypertrophy programs from the silver-era and pre-steroid era of bodybuilding and updates them with a modern understanding of muscle physiology and biomechanics.

FAQs
Do I have to start at the beginning of a new phase?
No! You can join us whenever. As our phases build upon each other, even if you start in the final week of a phase it will set you up for success in the first week of next phase!
How often does the training change?
Most phases will run for 8 weeks. We aim to balance the phase length with a duration that allows us to make maximal progress without training getting stale.
