Build: Healthspan Phase 2 is the intermediate 8-week strength and conditioning program designed to elevate your fitness, muscle strength, and stamina. Built specifically for older adults, returning lifters, or those advancing directly from Phase 1, this program takes your functional base to the next level without compromising joint safety.

Now that you have established movement baseline and core stability, Phase 2 transitions you into greater work capacity, increased total volume, and dynamic functional exercises—including walking lunges, standing cable wood choppers, DB sumo deadlifts, dynamic jump variations, and rotational core work.

Who Is This For?

  • Phase 1 Graduates: Individuals who completed an initial foundation block and are ready for progressive overload.

  • Intermediate Beginners & Active Seniors: Older or previously sedentary adults who already possess baseline mobility but need structured strength and muscle building.

  • Reconditioning Lifters: Anyone returning to fitness after an extended break who wants to build real functional power without heavy joint impact.

Why Choose This Program? Most intermediate fitness programs jump straight into heavy barbell loads or high-impact, exhausting circuits. Build: Healthspan Phase 2 bridges the gap safely. Structured around an manageable 3-day per week schedule, this program expands your baseline conditioning while allowing your body ample time to recover and adapt.

Every session follows a deliberate structure: warm-ups with targeted mobility (foam rolling, static stretches, fire hydrants), progressing into multi-joint strength blocks (dumbbell rows, incline presses, deadlifts, lunges), dynamic athleticism (spiderman planks, mountain climbers, pogo/squat jumps), and dedicated cardiovascular conditioning.

With seamless in-app exercise swaps, you remain in complete control. If equipment is limited or a specific movement feels too challenging, you can quickly adjust exercises right inside TrainHeroic while keeping your momentum going.

Take the next step in your healthspan journey—build real strength, improve bone density, and develop lasting physical independence.

FAQs
Do I need to complete Phase 1 before starting Phase 2?
While Phase 1 (Reclaim) is the ideal starting point for absolute beginners, you can start directly with Phase 2 if you already have a basic fitness foundation, good joint mobility, and recent experience with basic movements like bodyweight squats and light dumbbell exercises.
What equipment is needed for Phase 2?
You will benefit from having access to basic dumbbells, resistance bands/pulley system, a exercise mat, and a foam roller. However, every exercise includes built-in exercise swaps inside the TrainHeroic app, so you can easily modify movements based on the equipment available at home or in your gym.
How long are the Phase 2 training sessions?
Workouts are efficient and typically take 40 to 50 minutes to complete. They follow a structured layout: mobility warm-up, core/strength work, dynamic conditioning, and a cardio finisher
What if an exercise feels too difficult or causes joint discomfort?
You can substitute any exercise using the "Edit Swaps" feature directly in TrainHeroic. Additionally, coaches' cues inside the app guide you on adjusting weights, repetitions, or tempos to ensure every movement is comfortable and effective for your body
