Why The Lower Back?
The Lumbar Spine is at the base of the spine & much like the base of a pyramid, should be stable. Joints such as the thoracic spine & hips should be mobile with lots of movement, and muscle groups like the core & glutes hold everything in nicely and give the region support. Any one of these things not doing what they were meant to do can get us into trouble.
