This is a 10-week training program to help assist high school football players during their football season. This program is designed to help the athlete maintain the strength gains they made in the off season (and even increase these gains).
The program is designed so that it fits in seamlessly into their busy schedule; school, practice and games. The weekday workouts are short, body weight workouts. These workouts can easily be completed even with the busiest of schedules.
The weekend workouts will be more intense in both duration and volume and this is where the weightlifting workouts will focus heavily on big movements such as bench press, squat, etc. These weightlifting workouts will focus on both muscular strength and muscular endurance.
Maintaining (or even increasing) strength during the season will help assist the athlete in performing at his best on the field.
NOTE: This program is designed for Day 1 to start on a Monday. And workouts can be shifted as needed of course in order to accommodate your exact schedule.
