Who is the team for?
This program is for anyone who can perform full lifts. Beginners with 0 experience might find it hard to keep up with the cycles. In that case, we recommend learning our 13-Week Chinese OWL Program first (scroll down for the link). For everyone else, you'll definitely benefit from joining TEAM Gaby.
I have some mobility issues, can I join the training?
Absolutely, you can! We have complete warmup sessions that can get you ready before the main training. Plus, BAT exercises will help you overcome the root problems. If you are not able to do a specific movement so far, you can modify or skip it.
Can I add other programs or training sessions on top of this one?
It depends, we recommend you follow our training sessions for the first 1 or 2 weeks, and if you feel it’s easy and you can recover completely, you could arrange other ones. But we don’t recommend adding other intensive trainings at the beginning.
I have trained CrossFit for years, can this help me to improve skills?
Adding specific Olympic Weightlifting Training can definitely help you to improve, however, it will also depend on how you arrange your own trainings. Take care not to overtrain to avoid getting injuries. Besides, Coach Gaby will also give her feedbacks to help you improve!
What is Body Alignment Training (BAT)?
The human body is designed able to move flexibly and stably, while everyday activities like hours of working, driving, training, etc. can throw it out of balance (we call "Misalignment") and lead to compensation in your lifts. Thus, we focus on BAT to avoid injury and develop the best technique.
