Looking to help your kid build confidence in their athletic ability. EZWRK Athletic Performance for Youth has you covered. this program is a 3 day training program for kids ages 8 years +.

Using 3 main primary lifts to help you build awareness of movement, progress in load as you/the parent sees fit, and to help them build the confidence they need to excel in sport. Along with that there will be a daily Speed, Agility, Power and Plyometric session for them to do to help reinforce agility and COD/change of direction. This is something you always want in your back pocket as your child develops and grow.

The hard work in the weightroom brings about EZWRK on the field/court.

Is this safe?
yes, kids want to lift heavy things (relative), they want to play and use their bodies. we are just teaching them how to do it correctly as well as adding purpose to it.
Whats a good age to start at?
7-8 years old. At this age most kids are entering sports, body is more developed, they have a better understanding of what is possible and their own capabilities.
Will lifting stunt my child's growth?
No. That is a common myth. When performed with proper supervision and technique, strength training does not damage growing cartilage or stunt growth.
What is a safe routine?
1.) proper supervision to make sure technique is executed properly. 2.) Start off light with absolute doable loads and coach or parent controls progression in weight. 3.) Keep training weight room sessions 2-3 days per week, 1 hour max time. 4.) Keep things fun and always encourage.
What should they eat/drink? When should they eat/drink?
Meals should be 1 hour + before training session. With refuel smoothies, protein bars, fruit after training session. Before, During, After training session, stay hydrated.
