Aches & Pains Bundle

Active Life

Coaches
Chris Schaalo and Dr. Kalin Ashby

If you're currently active or were active very recently until you had a limitation slow you down, you want to get back to doing what you were doing, and know something needs addressing, this bundle may be for you.

This program IS...

All about RESILIENCY. We like to think of it as having the ability to do what you want, when you want, without fear or uncertainty.

Building resiliency through a focus on strength, control, mobility and stability, quality movement, and adequate flexibility can be the solution.

What you’ll find in this bundle:

4 Training Plans

The Anti-Bad Back Program, the "You Don't Have a Bad Shoulder Program", the Happy Hips, Knees, and Ankles Program, and the Balanced Strength Program.

The body-part-specific programs do NOT need to be completed every single day. In fact, we find it best to have a day or two of rest in between, especially in the early phases as your body is getting used to some of the new exercises and movements. The program is set up to have three workouts a week that take 30 minutes or less with rest days in between.

The Balanced Strength program focuses on building unilateral strength while maintaining conditioning. “Unilateral/Asymmetrical > Bilateral/Symmetrical” is one of our Active Life movement principles and what we believe allows individuals to stay strong, resilient, and durable, and truly embrace their physical freedom. Workouts in this program take around 45-60 minutes.

All four training plans are 13 weeks long.

There will probably be a lot of movements that you’ve never completed before. Be patient and take it slow. Quality movement is the #1 priority with this program. As with anything new, it takes practice and repeated exposure to improve the skill and level of competency. Breathe and play the long game.

You deserve to live the active life you want. Stop working around it and start addressing the aches and pains head-on.

If you go through this and still need support, you may need an individualized approach. Reach out to us at activelifeprofessional.com/rx-coaching.

Keep doing the activities you love
Doctors tell you to stop doing the things you love and your pain will also go away. Coaches tell you to work around it. Both of those suck. We believe in helping people get out of pain without going to the doctors or giving up their active lifestyle. It's possible! We've done it successfully with thousands of clients. This program bundle is a starting point to see if a template program can help.

Build Resiliency
Resiliency is having the ability to do what you want, when you want, without fear or uncertainty. How do you build resiliency, then? We believe you do this through a focus on balanced strength, control, mobility and stability, quality movement, and adequate flexibility.

Not medical advice
While the programs are designed by our staff of physical therapists, chiropractors, and fitness professionals, nothing is intended to serve as a substitute for a thorough evaluation. If something feels sketchy, then it is sketchy. Don’t do it. This program is designed to help you, not the alternative. If it’s not working as intended, that’s a good indication you may need something more specific!

Generally specific solutions
Every person is unique and different. Therefore, there’s no way this program could address all of your needs. We focus on the areas that are most common in the athletes and clients we work with. But for you, this may only be a starting point and you may be looking for more of a customized & individualized approach. If so, we have something perfect for you in our Active Life Rx Coaching.
