This 4 Week Program is designed as a Strength block for any athlete aspiring to compete in Strongman events, or is interested in adding some strongman aspects into their training. If preparing for a meet, this block should be started 8-10 weeks out from your contest. This bock focuses on improvement in general strength qualities such as Squat, Deadlift and Press with an emphasis on overhead pressing strength. Within this block you will also find several contest events including stone/sandbag work, log work, frame/trap bar exercises, and various carries. This program is a great fit to place before going into the "Strongman Realization Block".
