GG FUNdamentals is for young athletes ages 7–11 who need a strong base of movement, coordination, and simple, high-quality basketball skills. Most youth practices are focused on plays and preparing for games, which leaves kids without the individual skill work and physical development they need to grow. This program fills that gap with fun, age-appropriate training that builds both athleticism and confidence. -We offer two training days each week, and your athlete can attend either day or both under one monthly membership. Each day has a slightly different emphasis to match where your athlete is developmentally:
LOCATION: First Christian Church Gym 175 E John Rowan Blvd, Bardstown, KY 40004
Wednesdays 4pm-5pm — “Foundation Day” (Ideal for Ages 7–9) We slow things down and focus on the fundamentals: dribbling, footwork, balance, body control, and basic movement patterns that kids don’t get enough of anymore with less outdoor free play. We introduce early shooting form, stopping ability, cutting mechanics, and fun games that build coordination and confidence.
Fridays 4pm-5pm — “Development Day” (Ideal for Ages 10–11) A bit more advanced, these sessions challenge athletes with speed, reaction drills, age-appropriate strength work, agility, and more complex ball-handling and footwork. It stays fun, safe, and positive — but pushes kids toward real athletic growth.
No matter which day they attend, every athlete receives individual attention in a small-group setting (max 10 athletes per session). The goal is to build young athletes who are strong, coordinated, confident with the ball, and able to fit into any team or coaching system.
If your child needs better fundamentals, improved athletic movement, or just a fun, engaging place to learn the game the right way, GG FUNdamentals gives them everything they need to grow and thrive. Sessions are fast-paced, positive, and built around fun, so kids stay engaged while improving their skills and athleticism. Every drill has a purpose, and every athlete gets individual attention.
The goal of this program is simple: give young players the physical tools and basketball fundamentals to succeed on any team, with any coach, in any system. When kids feel strong, coordinated, and confident with the ball, they learn faster, play smarter, and enjoy the game more.

I focus on helping young athletes build real fundamentals that carry over to any sport or team. I’ve coached athletes from Pre-K through high school and have seen what it takes to build players who are truly ready to compete at higher levels. My training emphasizes athletic development, body control, and simple basketball skills taught through fun, game-based sessions.
If you want your young athlete to build real skills, move better, and gain the confidence to thrive on any team, GG FUNdamentals is the perfect place to start. Spots are limited to keep coaching quality high — we’d love to have your athlete join us.
