2-day Weightlifting supplement for Crossfit Athletes
This program is designed specifically for Crossfit athletes who are looking to improve their Olympic Lifts. With 2 focussed sessions per week, the goal is to build technical competency & efficiency, positional strength, and speed under the bar, without interfering wiht regular Crossfit training volume.
The block will run year round and naturally reduce volume during the CF Open so that it is roughly periodised around the CF calendar.
Each session emphasizes one primary lift, paried with accessory lifts that target squat strength, pulling strength, OH stability, plyometircs or general strength building / hypertrophy that will carry to the Olympic lifts.
The supplemental program is ideal for athletes who:
Want to improve their Snatch and Clean & Jerk numbers.
Need more focused barbell time without overloading their weekly training
Are building toward higher level Crossfit competitions and need sharper lifting proficiency
