Power Cycle – 10 Week Olympic Weightlifting Program
Build explosive power, and increase your strength with this 10-week Olympic Weightlifting Power Cycle!
This program is designed for CrossFit athletes and Olympic weightlifters who want to improve their power in their lifts. Whether you're looking to increase your power snatch and power clean numbers, improve your Olympic lifts, or develop explosive strength that carries over into your CrossFit workouts, this cycle is for you.
Throughout this cycle, we'll focus on developing speed, power, and strength through a combination of Olympic lifting, weighted jumps, squats, explosive movements, and accessory work.
What to expect:
* 3 structured training sessions per week, approximately 45–60 minutes each.
* Snatches, Cleans, and Clean & Jerk variations to develop speed and explosiveness.
* Weighted jumps and plyometric exercises to improve power production.
* Squats and strength work to build the foundation for heavier lifts.
* Progressive programming designed to help you develop power throughout the 10 weeks.
This program is ideal for intermediate athletes who already have experience with the Olympic lifts and want to take their performance to the next level.
Designed to complement your regular CrossFit training or serve as a structured, three-day-per-week Olympic weightlifting program.

Movement Primer You have some new movements today so I want you to go though each movements with an empty bar before moving on to your working sets 5 Reps Front Squat into Push Press (Thruster) 5 Reps Front Squat into Push Jerk 5 Reps Front Squat into Split Jerk ---------- Notes ---------- You are likely very familiar with thrusters but probably haven't done the other two movements. Here's what I want you to focus on 👉🏻 Set your bar like your are going for a jerk not a front squat and work to maintain that front rack position through your movement. 👉🏻 Don't let your elbows drop as you drive out of the bottom of yoru front squat. Instead focus on pushing your elbows up on the way down and the way up. 👉🏻 Make sure to open your hips BEFORE you move under the bar for your Push/Split Jerk. You are working on your leg drive so these won't help you if you don't open your hips. 👉🏻 Push into the bar! You want to feel a strong lockout overhead
