This is an 11 week cycle designed to improve the athlete's balance, position, and vertical leg drive of the pulls of the snatch and clean. This is NOT a meet-peaking cycle. This is a technical cycle. While a beginner or intermediate weightlifter may experience more PRs across the board with the cycle, a more experienced lifter will mostly notice improved proficiency in heavier ranges of their classic lifts while maintaining strength numbers. The primary goal of the cycle is to become more reliable with heavier lifts on the platform.
This cycle has relatively low volume and should be easy to recover from workouts from day-to-day in order to maintain quality movement throughout the cycle. It begins with two light preparation weeks in order to introduce the flow and primary exercise selection for the remaining blocks.

If you want to compete at the highest levels, you have to make your lifts. A snatch PR in the gym doesn't mean anything if you can't rely on it on the platform!
