The Best Ranger Competition is the most challenging competition in the military, and requires an extremely high level of cardiovascular fitness and durability.

This program is created by past Best Ranger Competition winners to ensure you go into an official Best Ranger train-up or tryout with a high level of cardiovascular fitness and overall durability. If you are using this plan specifically for Best Ranger, you should aim to start this program 12-weeks prior to your tryout or official train up.

Not only is this plan great for those training for BRC, but it's also an amazing plan to build a solid cardiovascular and strength base for obstacle course or adventure racing, rucking, or as general prep for military schools and selections.

This program includes obstacle courses and ruck walks.

This program is built for the athlete running 20+ mi per week. If you are running substantially more (40+), add easy milage throughout the week to maintain your current mileage. If you are running less than 20 mi per week, we recommend starting this plan a few weeks early and repeating week 1 for 4-6 weeks, slowly adding running volume by 10% per week until you reach 20+ mi/week.
