This 8-week training cycle is designed with one primary objective: build muscle.

Over the next eight weeks, training will progressively challenge your ability to handle more volume, load, and training intensity while maintaining high-quality movement. The program combines foundational compound lifts with targeted accessory and isolation work to maximize muscular tension and develop size across the entire body.

THE GOAL

Hypertrophy isn't about simply completing sets and reps. Every working set needs intent. Control the eccentric, use a full range of motion, maintain tension through the targeted muscle, and take your working sets close enough to failure to create an adaptation.

Throughout the eight weeks, your goal is to progress without sacrificing execution. That may mean adding weight, performing more reps with the same weight, improving technique, or completing the same workload with greater control.

TRAINING STANDARDS
- Progressive Overload: Look for opportunities to improve performance week to week.
- Train Close to Failure: Most working sets should finish approximately 1–3 reps in reserve (RIR) unless otherwise prescribed.
- Control the Eccentric: Don't rush reps. Own the lowering portion and maintain tension.
- Full Range of Motion: Use the greatest effective range you can control.
- Quality > Quantity: Junk volume doesn't build muscle. Make every working set count.
- Track Your Training: Record weights and reps so you have a target to beat the next time the movement appears.
- Recover: Training provides the stimulus. Sleep, nutrition, hydration, and recovery allow you to adapt to it.

THE NEXT 8 WEEKS

Don't chase fatigue just for the sake of feeling tired. Chase progression.

Your job is to show up consistently, execute each movement with intent, progressively challenge the muscle, and recover well enough to do it again.

Build tension. Add volume. Progress the load. Earn the adaptation.
