The Explosive Athlete Blueprint is a 12 week off-season speed, power, and strength program built for athletes who want to get faster, jump higher, build strength, and move with more confidence.

This program combines acceleration work, max velocity sprinting, plyometrics, med ball throws, strength training, mobility, recovery, and performance testing. You will train 3 main days per week with optional skill and active recovery days built in.

Start with baseline testing. Follow the plan. Retest at the end. See how much faster, stronger, and more explosive you became.

Built for athletes who want to train with intent and bring more explosiveness back to their sport.

Program Structure

Monday Day 1: Acceleration / Lower Body Strength

Tuesday Optional Skill / Active Recovery Day

Wednesday Day 2: Jump Power / Upper Body Strength

Thursday Optional Skill / Active Recovery Day

Friday Day 3: Max Velocity Prep / Full Body Power

Saturday Rest or light movement

Sunday Optional Rest Day

Jump higher, produce more force, and learn how to move with intent. This program uses plyometrics, med ball throws, sprint work, and explosive lifts to help athletes become more powerful. The goal is not just to get stronger. The goal is to express strength faster.

Strength Built For Athletes
Strength work is included to support speed, power, durability, and performance. You will train squats, hinges, presses, pulls, single leg strength, posterior chain, and core work with athletic intent. Every lift has a purpose. Move well, build strength, and carry it back to your sport.

FAQs
Who this Program is For
This program is built for intermediate to advanced level athletes who already have basic lifting experience and understand proper technique. It is best for high school, college, and competitive athletes who want to improve speed, power, strength, and explosiveness.
Can this program be used in-season?
Yes. If you are in season, adjust volume based on practices, games, and recovery. If you play Friday or Saturday, consider training Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday so you can recover before game day. Reduce optional work and avoid anything that leaves you sore for competition.
How long should each workout take?
Most sessions should take about 75-90 minutes. Some days may take a little longer depending on rest times, equipment setup, and how much sprint or testing work is included. Especially, if you're going to the field/track for your speed work and then heading to the gym after.
Can I get additional help during the program?
Yes. If you need help adjusting the program, understanding an exercise, or fitting it around your schedule, message me through the app and I can help guide you.
