THE MINIMUM EFFECTIVE DOSE
You don't need to train like a professional athlete. BARE strips physical preparation back to the qualities that matter most for surfers and delivers them in just 2 × 30-minute sessions each week. Train less. Train with purpose.

BUILT AROUND SURFING
Good waves tomorrow? Go surfing. BARE is designed to complement your time in the water — not compete with it. Move your training sessions around work, family and the forecast while still getting the important work done each week.

KEEP YOUR BODY READY TO SURF
Each training block targets the physical qualities that help you keep surfing well: Strength — produce and absorb force. Power — maintain fast, athletic movement. Mobility — access the positions you need on a surfboard. Capacity — maintain output across longer sessions. Nothing is included simply to fill the 30 minutes.

FAQs
How much training do I need to complete?
Two 30-minute sessions each week. That's the entire point of BARE.
What if the waves are good on my training day?
Go surfing. Move your BARE session to another day. The program exists to support your surfing, not replace it.
What if I only complete one session?
Something is better than nothing. Complete the second session when you can and keep moving forward rather than trying to catch up on missed training.
Do I need a full gym?
No. Basic gym equipment will give you plenty of options, and exercises can be modified depending on what you have available.
Is BARE suitable for beginners?
Yes. Exercises include demonstrations and the loading can be adjusted to your current training level.
