Who is this program for?
Ideal for youth ice hockey players from U15 to U18 who are looking to further development, get stronger and enhance their on-ice performance.
What to expect with this program?
Expect this program to be more strength and power oriented. Lifts will incorporate beginner, intermediate and advanced exercises as we progress through the program. This program is geared to enhance strength, power, balance, conditioning and more!
What equipment do I need?
Dumbbells, Bands, TRX or Suspension Trainer, Ladder, Hurdles, Med Ball will be the majority in our programming. If you have access to a full gym that would be ideal.
How many workouts per week?
3 workouts will be available and will be designed around a typical in-season hockey season as well as balancing school and other activities as well.
What if I don't have or missing some of the required equipment?
You can also substitute exercises using the exercise database inside the app, but we recommend that you invest in the required equipment if you are working out from home. If you have gym access, check to see if your gym has this equipment first.
What if I miss a day on the calendar?
No worries! Just move that workout around on your calendar inside the app to best fit your schedule.
What if an exercise is too difficult or I have an injury?
No problem! You can switch the exercise during the workout. Example: if we call for a slider pushup, you can switch it for a regular pushup. There are plenty of regressions we can choose from.
Can this program be customized for my athlete?
Unfortunately, customization is not available directly in this program. We do however, offer Remote Personal Programming where your training program can be customized directly for you or your athlete! Email or message coach Jerry for more info.
What if I need to switch exercises?
No problem! You can switch exercises during the workout using the exercise database.
What if my team already does off-ice training during the week?
No problem! You can use our training plan accordingly around your schedule. Feel free to move workouts around on your calendar inside the app to fit your schedule!
