Powerbuilding Program

The goal of this powerbuilding program is to main an emphasis on building muscle size; with a secondary focus on building strength through the foundational barbell lifts. This program is for anyone seeking to put more mass on their frame, and have the strength to back it up. It's designed and adjusted weekly with block and progression periodization, in five separate six-week blocks that each have a specific area of the body it focuses on; all without neglecting the rest of the body.

Block 1: Foundational Mass

Focus: Quads & Upper Back Build a muscular foundation while developing technical strength in the squat, bench press and deadlift.

Block 2: Pressing and Posterior Mass

Focus: Chest & Hamstrings Increase pressing volume and hamstring development while progressing the bench press and strengthening the hinge pattern.

Block 3: Width and Hip Development

Focus: Lats & Glutes Build back width and hip/glute musculature while maintaining strength across the primary lifts.

Block 4: Shoulder and Lower-Leg Development

Focus: Delts, Mid/Lower Back & Calves Develop broader shoulders, powerful lumbar, and stronger lower legs while keeping the full-body strength base intact.

Block 5: Arms and Trunk Development

Focus: Biceps, Triceps & Core Increase direct arm and trunk volume while consolidating the strength gains from the previous blocks.

More Size on Your Frame
It's not just more weight on the scale. It's mass that'll show, even under the shirt.
benefit-image-1
No Body Part Left Behind.
Five blocks, with each block building on the last, so that the mass/strength you put on in Block 1 carries all the way into Block 5. This is so nothing gets neglected and you don't feel like you're starting over a six weeks.

The Squat, Bench, and Deadlift.
Increasing strength and power in these three to maintain a high level of strength while gaining size.

FAQs
Who is this for?
Anyone looking to have a structured bodybuilding style training plan to build size, with elements of increasing strength through the big compound movements.
What if I miss a day?
That's okay! You can either keep moving forward with the next training day; or perform the missed session on the next upcoming rest day instead. It's all about the long-term, not the short-term. You can always reach out to your coach or community for guidance as well.
What should I expect on an average training day?
A prep/warm-up sequence, a main strength/power lift, then multiple (1-4) accessory lifts, and finishing off with an active recovery/cooldown movement.
How much communication will I get with the coach?
The coach will be in available in the community at minimum once weekly; but expect multiple opportunities for communication throughout the week.
