Imagine walking into the gym with a blueprint for building the exact physical qualities you need to dominate your next fight.

No more guesswork. No more random workouts made up on the fly.

This is why I created War Ready.

From enthusiasts chasing a win on the local scene to elite athletes aiming to medal at the Olympic Games.

As an athlete and coach, I've seen firsthand what separates the boxers who enter the ring confident in their preparation from those hoping to survive.

The successful ones tend to follow a structured program, including their strength and conditioning. You should, too.

War Ready is for boxing athletes and enthusiasts who want to level up. It aligns with the NSW amateur boxing calendar, targeting tournaments like the Elite and Novice State Titles, Elite Australian Championships, and King of the Ring.

This flexible, four-day-per-week program has two distinct components:

Strength, Power & Robustness (2 days/week): Two sessions per week will comprehensively address your mobility and flexibility, strength and power qualities, and common injury sites found within the sport through targeted plyometrics and ballistics, heavier strength work, and robustness circuits.

Energy Systems Development (2 days/week): The remaining sessions will develop a relentless "gas tank" using a structured blend of sprint-interval protocols and long HIIT. This systematic approach will ensure you can sustain high outputs and express your highest skillset in competition.

FAQs
Who is the War Ready program for?
War Ready is for boxing athletes and enthusiasts who want to level up by implementing a structured strength and conditioning program.
How long will each session take?
The strength and power sessions take approximately 45-65 minutes, and the ESD sessions will take 35-55 minutes at the absolute max.
I can't complete each session on its scheduled day. What should I do?
The sport of boxing can be absolute chaos, so a flexible approach works best. Reschedule your sessions as required to stay consistent.
Can I do this program without changing my boxing training schedule?
Absolutely! This program is designed to complement your existing skills-based training. You can also perform it independently if you don't train in boxing or combat sports.
What if I have additional questions?
The Train Heroic platform has an in-built chat function, so you can ask questions and get clarification about the program as we go along.
Is this the same as Remote Coaching?
No, this is not a Remote Coaching service. This is a team-based, year-round, strength and conditioning program. The program won't be individualised for each participant.
