The Rams Horn Program is thoughtfully designed to increase the muscle endurance andaerobic demand for those who dare enter the mountains.

Whether your're a mountain runner, hunter, alpine climber, backpacker or a military member in a designated mountain team, this program is for you.

The mountains do not care and they are unforgiving. They will teach you lessons and **they can kill you. ** Do not get caught being a statistic.

We've been in the high alpines of the Rockies where other people got injured and we needed to carry them and their gear out.

We've been there when the unexpected, deadly storms move in, and you need to return to base in a hurry.

We've also been in the mountains of Afghanistan where peoples lives depended on it.

Muscle Endurance
A strong back and legs are the difference between life and death in the mountains. You must exert force, consistently and repetitively, over a period of time to reach the peak or carry that elk out of the back country.

Aerobic Capacity
You need an engine built to last and the way this is built through long, sustained aerobic work. Carrying a load over uneven terrain for a long distance is no easy task.

A core for performance
A strong core is a fundamental aspect of carrying a load, lifting heavy weight and protecting your spine. This will be done through loaded carries and dynamic core work, not sit ups.

Brandon is the Co-Owner and head coach of True North Athletics. He's also an active duty member of the U.S Armed Forces which started his passion for the Tactical Athlete. His love for adventure and challenge often leads him to the high peaks across America where its man vs self and man vs environment.

Matt is the programmer for Rams Horn and he's no stranger to endurance, leadership and most of all training for the mountains. He an active duty Marine with multiple deployments in a specialized mountain team. He's also a family man and a lover of endurance and he's competed in several long distance endurance events.

Caitlin is the co-owner of True North Athletics with a focus on nutrition for longevity and human performance. When she isn't hiking with her husband, she is tending to their two month year old baby, continuing education and training clients. Caitlin is interested in taking things further and focusing on pregnancy and postpartum training and nutrition after having a great experience of her own.
