BUILT FOR THE BRETHREN BY THE BRETHREN ** POUNDERS is for lifters who are done with random workouts and cookie cutter programs. It’s for people who want to build real strength, explosive power, muscle and work capacity while keeping their bodies strong and capable for the long haul.

North of Westside takes proven conjugate principles and makes them work for the everyday lifter. You’ll train Max Effort and Dynamic Effort work alongside supplemental and accessory training designed to build muscle, attack weak points and keep you moving well.

Programming rotates every three weeks so you have time to learn the movements, progress and push yourself without beating the same lifts into the ground.

Heavy work teaches you to strain. Speed work teaches you to produce force. Accessory work builds the muscle and resilience to back it all up.

This isn’t about chasing numbers at the expense of everything else. Strength is a skill. Technique matters. Weak points get addressed instead of ignored. ` Whether you train in a commercial gym, garage or basement, POUNDERS gives you purposeful programming built to help you get stronger, move better and stay in the game.

FAQs
Is this only for powerlifters?
No. It’s built for anyone who wants real strength and better athletic performance.
What if I’m new to conjugate training?
You’ll learn the system as you go. Every session has a clear purpose and progressions.
What equipment do I need?
A barbell, rack, bench, plates, dumbbells and bands. Specialty equipment is optional, and substitutions are provided where possible.
How many days per week?
Four training days plus one General Physical Preparedness day.
Will the workouts change?
Yes. Training rotates every three weeks to keep you progressing and expose new weaknesses to attack.
What if I miss a day?
Life happens. Don’t try to cram two sessions into one or make up everything you missed. Pick up where you left off and keep moving forward. Consistency over time is what matters.
What should I expect on an average training day?
Expect to work. Sessions start with focused prep followed by your main strength or speed work, supplemental lifts, targeted accessories and conditioning when programmed. Every exercise has a reason for being there.
How much communication will I get with the coach?
You’re not just getting a program and being left on your own. Josh is active in the team chat to answer questions, help with substitutions, talk training and keep the crew accountable.
