Functional Hypertrophy

Tactical Aesthetics

Coach
Alex Aguilar

This program is built for dads and tactical professionals. Men who want to look good on the beach without sacrificing the strength, conditioning, and toughness they need in real life. You don’t need to be in special operations to train like it. Whether you’re a father trying to reclaim your edge, a firefighter, military, or LEO who needs to stay sharp, this program is designed for men who want more than just aesthetics. It's for those that want real-world capability.

Most programs give you one or the other:

Bodybuilding plans that make you look strong but leave you gassed on the job.

Tactical programs that build grit but don’t deliver the physique you want.

That gap leaves guys frustrated, you train hard but never feel like you are getting the full payoff.

Tactical Hypertrophy bridges the gap. Using my background as an Army Ranger and firefighter, I’ve built a gym-based training system that:

Builds lean muscle and aesthetics with proven hypertrophy methods.

Develops functional strength and conditioning that carries over into life and work.

Sharpens mental toughness so you don’t just look the part but you live it.

With the Tactical Aesthetics program, you’ll strike the perfect balance:

Strong enough to handle the demands of life, family, and the job.

Lean, muscular, and confident in how you look.

Equipped with the mindset of someone who doesn’t just train but prepares.

This isn’t about chasing PRs you’ll never use, and it’s not about pumping up just for looks. It’s about becoming the kind of man your family, your brothers, and even your younger self would admire.

FAQs
Do I have to train at a gym?
As long as you have access to the equipment needed, it doesn't matter where you workout. The garage, the gym, the firehouse etc.
What if I miss a day?
Just pick up the next training session. Missing an upper body day once isn't going to kill you.
What about nutrition?
Common sense dieting is in effect here. 80% single ingredient Whole Foods with a focus on 1 gram protein per lb. of goal bodyweight and 20% whatever the f*ck you feel like eating. Eating healthy isn't complicated, it just takes consistency.
What if I'm too sore or hurt?
There is a difference between sore and injured. If you're injured listen to your body and rest the injured body part. I.e. do single arm bench if needed. If you're extremely sore, that can be normal, but don't skip a workout. Lower the weight or reps but still hit the required body part or movement.
