What Do I Get For Signing Up?
Each week, you will be delivered 3 strength and conditioning sessions to compliment your on-the-bike training. These sessions are aimed at levelling you up across the board in terms of physical preparation. You will receive coaching feedback from myself and the community, should you wish.
What If I Need An Exercise Substitution?
That's fine! No exercise is mandatory, and you can request substitutions.
Will This Work In-Season?
Absolutely. It's a myth that you cant make good progress during the season. You'll be surprised at how much is there for the taking in-season. The significant difference between off-season and in-season training is volume.
How Do I Schedule It Into My Week?
The beauty of this program lies in its agility. You will access my insights on structuring this into your week specific to you.
What If I Travel A Lot?
I have a heap of experience coaching athletes who are always on the go. This is something that will be alluded to throughout the training.
Is There A Minimum Commitment Period?
Nope. I would say that giving the program chance to do its magic is worth the wait. I recommend 3 months minimum, but it's totally up to you.
What If I Am A Complete Beginner?
Online training has long been thought of for advanced trainees only. With the in-depth nature of this training package, even a beginner can reap tremendous benefits.
I Don't Feel I Have Time For Gym Work
My training ethos for athletes has always been to facilitate the minimum effective dose so that you can perform your sport with complete focus and attention. After all, S&C is like the sprinkling of salt and not the main meal.
Will You Check My Form?
Absolutely. I aim to put the "coaching" back into online coaching.
There Are Other Subscription Plans Out There. What's The Difference?
Whilst I can't speak from the inner working of other subscription-based plans, all I can say is about the effectiveness of The Academy. I aim to bring the highest standard of coaching back into the mountain bike world.
