What is the structure of the College Prep Training program?
The program always includes 2 major lifts and adjusts based on the high school baseball season. During the off-season, there will be higher volume and lower intensity. In-season, the emphasis shifts to power, high intensity, and low volume. Conditioning also varies similarly.
Is this program suitable for beginners?
Yes! Whether you're new to strength training or already have experience, the program and weights are customizable to fit your current fitness level. You can also ask questions via the app so our coaches can help guide you through each phase of training, ensuring you progress safely and effectively.
Will this program help me prevent injuries?
Absolutely! Our College Prep Training program is overseen by a team of physical therapists who emphasize strength training as a key element in injury prevention. By improving mobility, building strength, and refining movement patterns, you'll lower your risk of injury while enhancing performance.
Do I need any special equipment to participate?
For optimal results, it’s recommended that you have access to medicine balls, a squat rack with barbells and plates, dumbbells, resistance bands, and plyo boxes. These pieces of equipment will ensure you can fully engage in the program's exercises, which are designed to build strength and power.
