Colin Masterson

The Athlete Foundation Program is all encompassing workout program providing (speed, training, recovery) as well as monthly educational videos discussing hot topics in the athletic performance world (sleep, nutrition, showcase prep, recruiting).  

The goal of this program is to introduce, educate and guide athletes along their athletic journey.  

This program is written for the hardworking, process oriented athlete. 

Each week has 2 planned workouts and a recovery session.  Both training days are full body training days.  The first training day of the week is a total body: lower body focus geared (strength day).  Day 2 is a total body: upper body focus. Day 2 should be performed at-least 1 day away from competition.  The recovery day is an optional session to help promote body movement, blood flow and light weight higher volume exercise to help promote recovery.

Speed & Strength Program
Most athletes train speed or strength. Here with the foundational program we train both speed and strength. Speed is the tide that lifts all ships and no program is complete without it. Strength supports speed and increases athletic outputs. Don't neglect either quality
Total Body Workout Days
Programmed days are total body days with either an upper or lower focus depending upon time of year/season. With busy schedules you may have to miss a day. No worries that is why we train full body. If you miss one session you still train full body at-least one time per week
Progressive Overload
Each week adds some variation of progressive overload (exercise, sets, reps, tempo). Most programs get stagnant, but this program continues to develop with you
Injury Prevention
Can you prevent an injury? Short answer, no. BUT with quality, consistent training we can mitigate injuries and help develop more resilient athletes.

Daily strength, conditioning, and skill training that’s accessible and challenging for athletes of any level or background

Instructional videos to guide your practice and make execution easy
Detailed, expert instruction
Coaches who will hold you accountable and provide the feedback you need to grow
