This program does not concentrate on "Number of Miles ran each week" - this program holistically approaches the sport of endurance events with a measured application of Strength:Speed:Endurance work - Therefore we're not creating a one dimensional athlete, but a rounded athlete repeatedly capable of displaying great strength and great endurance.

This program has a balanced mix of Strength/Hypertrophy work to accompany the athletes endurance program. 

The program doesn't create a skin and bone athlete which is typical of the endurance world,  but an athletic, lean and well rounded athlete.

Finding Ultra
Be it 42.2km or 26.2miles, this program will have you hitting that distance by week 14. Seems like a long time, but trust me, once you go past this distance, you'll be entering a new league, the ultra league, which you'll be joining by the end of the 16 weeks.

Pre-race program
Whether you're a seasoned ultra runner, or a first timer, this program can be your pre-race structure that you need. Hold yourself accountable and ensure you don't slip into any nasty habits of investing too heavily into one area of your training. This program has been tried and tested from 100km events even to the Leadville 100. Tried and tested.

By virtue of following this program, your body and your mind will undoubtedly harden. Chances are in fact you'll start to crave the harder and more adventurous things in life. Running an ultra is not the only by-product of this program, you can go out and truly manipulate the world with your second to none endurance and hardened mind. "See you out there."
