This isn’t just another cookie-cutter program pulled off the shelf. It’s a comprehensive 16-week off-season plan designed by a professional hockey player—and followed by one too. Built around the needs of high-performance athletes, it progresses logically through four training phases: building strength and durability first, then converting that into speed and power as the season approaches.

The goal is simple: to help athletes move better, feel better, and perform at a higher level—on the ice, the field, or in the weight room.

With a focus on mobility, joint health, and athletic output, this program gives you the tools to develop real-world performance—not just aesthetics.

This is the exact framework I use to prepare for the professional season, with just a few personal modifications. You’re not following a theory—you’re stepping into a system that’s being lived out in real time.

Mobility/ Injury Prehab Focus
At the beginning of every lift day - there is a comprehensive mobility/prehab and dynamic warm up to help you take your functional movement to the next level. This is a massive part of feeling great and elevating your game to the next level. This is based on the mobility program that I started doing in university as per my S+C coach, and it transformed my game.

Technical Block
After the mobility and dynamic warm up, we move into a block that emphasizes more technical aspects of movement, while also incorporating some power, speed and agility (PSA) work. We use tools like sleds, hurdle, and ladders to find tune your mechanics, build proper movement patterns, improve balance/coordination, and take you PSA to the next level and beyond.

Strength + Conditioning (S+C)
The next block of each workout is the S+C block - the major component of each lift day. Throughout the off-season, we move from a general strength, hypertrophy, and muscular endurance emphasis to a high power, high speed and game specific movement emphasis by the end of the program.

Coach Communication
Your coach Erik will be available to answer questions and make modifications throughout the off-season if necessary. It may take some time to get back to each of you, but he will attend to each of you as necessary!
