A lot of lacrosse players spend hours shooting and dodging.
But most of those reps aren’t building the skills that actually translate to higher levels of the game.
Players repeat random drills. They mimic highlights they see online. They take hundreds of shots without improving mechanics or understanding how to create real scoring opportunities.
The result? Lots of effort, but very little real development.
If your goal is to become a recruitable athlete, your training must focus on the skills that actually show up in college lacrosse.
That’s exactly what this program is designed to do.
The Collegiate Shooting & Dodging Program helps athletes develop the skills college coaches actually recruit for.
Too many players train hard but work on the wrong things. Random drills and highlight moves rarely translate to real game situations. This program fixes that by giving athletes a clear path for developing the shooting, dodging, and offensive decision-making needed to become a high-level player.
Built from my experience as both a college coach and professional box lacrosse player, the training focuses on the skills that consistently separate advanced players:
• Footwork that creates separation
• Dodges that work against defenders
• Accurate, repeatable shooting mechanics
• Finishing ability under pressure
Instead of wasting reps, athletes follow a structured progression designed to build real offensive ability.
Players will learn to:
• Create space using effective dodging mechanics
• Shoot with accuracy, balance, and power
• Finish consistently in real game situations
• Apply box lacrosse concepts to improve field play
This program emphasizes intentional repetition — the kind that builds confidence and muscle memory that shows up when the game speeds up.
This program is ideal for athletes in grades 5–10 who love the game and want to take their development seriously.
Players who start building these skills early gain a major advantage. By focusing on the right fundamentals now, athletes develop the confidence, creativity, and offensive instincts that help them separate themselves from other players.
