FAQs
What if I don't have access to the equipment you've listed?
WE've provided some basic alternatives to facilitate following this program in a more commercial gym environment. If you do have any issues, we're only a message away to help you find a better alternative to aid you hitting your max!
Why is it so cheap in comparison to other programs?
Our biggest goal is to provide quality programs that are accessible to ALL athletes. Strongman has been seen as a sport for the elite for far too long. It's time to make it accessible to all! Learn from our expertise and grow from our community.
What if the weight is too heavy for me?
The program is structured in a way to test you with your current limitations. We'll be utilising protocols like AMRAPs and timed rep events to progressivesly overload your lifts leading to a more well-rounded peak for the end of this program.
When do I start using assistant gear? ie. straps, sleeves, belt etc.
Are you going to be using them on competition day or when you max out? If yes, then start using them now! We train with what we're going to use on comp day. Minimise changing variables closer to competition and practice what you'll do on the day. Conscious effort breeds unconscious results.
Do I need to go to a strongman specific gym?
Always yes!....if you can. Strongman gyms are awesome ;)
Do I have to sign up to a competition to do this program?
No! If you just want to learn how to train like a strongman and max out three of the most important lifts in our sport, this program will get you to be unbelievably stronger than you ever thought possible.
Do I need to be experienced in lifting to do this program?
To be competitive, yes. To try out the sport and enjoy the process of something new, no. This program is meant to guide athletes of all levels to learn how to max out properly for these three fundamental strongman lifts.
